“Stars Above: ESO Discoveries” is an interactive prototype developed at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg to communicate technological advances and discoveries in ground-based astronomy. The installation was created in collaboration with the European Southern Observatory (ESO) to enhance its public image and spark curiosity about the engineering achievements of one of the largest telescopes and its discoveries.
